We're pleased to present Spring Blooms - The Dance of Life, featuring the premiere of our Communities in Mocean - Older Adults Dance Project, as well as our new emerging artist program SURGE. Guest performances by local professional artists will round out the mixed program. Join us for these free showcase performances that bring together communities of different life stages, and celebrate dance across a spectrum of experience and emotion.
Spring Blooms is presented in partnership with Halifax Public Libraries and the Northwood Community Recreation and Wellness Program (Central Location).
Northwood Halifax:
Mocean will premiere the dances created in both the Communities in Mocean and SURGE programs, for an audience of Northwood residents, friends and family. This afternoon showcase with also feature a performance by local Indian Classical dance artist Thushara Premarajan.

Halifax Central Library:
This evening performance will feature the dances created in both the Communities in Mocean and SURGE programs, alongside short works by local artists April Hubbard & Vanessa Furlong, and Sangeeta Raju.
