petites danses

petites danses is the creation of multi-faceted, multi-award-winner Marie-Josée Chartier. The program is a riveting collection of short stories in motion that dig deep at the heart of human relationships. It has been presented in several Canadian cities and reimagined at each location. Mocean’s depiction will be performed by a novel ensemble of seven dancers and four actors drawn from Halifax’s dance and theatre communities. The cast will bring their distinctive interpretation to four pieces from the petites danses collection and one new piece will be created specifically for five of Mocean’s most experienced dancers.

Dancers: Gillian Seaward-Boone, Susanne Chui, Nathaniel Dooks, Julie Robert, Anastasia Wiebe, Lydia Zimmer and guest artist Mairéad Filgate
